This month, I challenge you to create a project using one or more of the many handmade flower techniques that are out there.

Completing this challenge will get you one entry in the February prize drawing, so be sure to share your projects in our gallery here...

I love making flowers. I'm in a swap right now to make a bunch so just sat and made bunches and bunches to be used later on.

Here is one I made this week from tissue paper.

Cute layout! I love those flowers (tissue paper).

I finished mine too and should be posting sometime tomorrow. :)

Here's mine. I used The Sampler's February kit and also lifted from a layout on Colorful Creations...

Here's my submission. I put together a bit of a hodge podge of random stuff, and added some flowers that I made by wetting and crumpling paper. I kind of like the final effect.

PostSubject: "Smile" - Flower Technique Challenge   Mon Feb 28, 2011 10:34 am

This is a LO inspired by Nat King Cole's song - Smile. Picture was taken 2 days after we laid my MIL to rest after her battle with Ovarian Cancer. The handmade flowers are a technique I saw from Gabrielle Pollaco, link is below. TFL :) As soon as I figure out how to post in the gallery I will get this in there.
